Geography Educators Outreach for Earth Knowledge Acquired by Middle School Students

Twenty master geography teacher consultants will be selected from among the nations best teacher consultants through an open, self-nomination process. Letters of support will be required from principals. Recommendations from other significant authorities, such as alliance coordinators are invited. Applications will be reviewed by my a committee consisting of Sarah Bednarz and the two Teacher Consultants selected to be on staff in order to choose the best participants. Selection criteria will include geographic distribution, previous experiences in professional development and mentoring, and high ratings from the letters of recommendation.
